Spodee wine is a blend of liquor and wine made by Steven Grasse, the mastermind behind Hendrick's Gin and Sailor Jerry Rum. Spodee wine is inspired by Depression-era beverages and is 36 proof.
Grasse says of his work, "We've had a lot of fun and have been very successful reinventing the world of spirits. Every project we have done has broken new ground. We wanted to see if we could do the same with wine. The entire wine category seems so staid. All my products are based on history. I do a ton of research."
