If you are thinking of throwing a Halloween party, the floating brain cocktail should be a signature beverage. Irish cream liqueur is slowly added to a shot of peach schnapps, forming ribbons within the drink to make it appear like a brain. A splash of grenadine adds a gory detail to the cocktail. Your guests might be frightened but not enough to resist the floating brain cocktail.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 ounces peach schnapps
1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
1 1/2 ounces Bailey's Irish Cream
Directions:
Shake.
Strain into an on-the-rocks glass.
Drip a drop or two of grenadine into the glass, it will sink to the bottom and look like blood.
Dip the drinking straw into the Bailey's; place finger over your end to capture some inside the straw.
Insert filled straw into the center of the glass.
