Drop the oil and grease for these healthier baked onion rings! Food Doodles creatively paired fresh rosemary with stronger red onion for a non-fried side dish you can feel better about. Finish with another dusting of salt when they're fresh out of the oven if you crave that saltier crunch.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup whole wheat flour
2 tsp. paprika
2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. very finely chopped fresh rosemary
2 eggs, well beaten
2-3 cups panko or whole grain bread crumbs
2-3 medium sized red onions
