Whether you have company coming over or you just need a healthy snack, this fancy trail mix is nutritious and delicious. Almonds spiced with maple and cinnamon are folded into a bowl brimming with dried cherries, pistachios and chunks of rich dark chocolate. We don't have to tell you that the combination of sweet and salty will drive snackers wild.
Ingredients:
1 cup raw almonds
1/2 tsp olive oil
1/2 maple syrup
1/2 tsp cinnamon
pinch of sea salt
pinch of nutmeg
1/4 cup dried cherries
1/3 cup pistachios
1/4 cup dark chocolate chunks
