Brownie. Cookie. You don’t have to decide anymore. This “brookie” recipe from Yammie’s Noshery alternates the gooey chocolateyness of a fresh-out-of-the-oven brownie with vanilla-tinged chocolate chip cookie dough. You might also consider this a chocolate chip blondie and brownie recipe, but “brookie” is so much more fun to say.
Ingredients:
Brownie batter
1 stick of butter (1/2 cup)
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Blondie batter
1 1/2 sticks butter (12 tablespoons)
2 cups dark brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chocolate chips
