What happens when you have two pieces of buttery brioche and a jar of Nutella? The answer is simple: stuffed French toast with Nutella and berries. This rich and decadent breakfast should be saved for a special occasion. Thick slices of brioche (a French egg bread) is dipped into custard and pan fried until golden brown. The bread is then sandwiched with a generous amount of Nutella. Instead of maple syrup, this French toast is topped with a simple berry sauce to balance the meal. It should be noted that this recipe serves two but can be easily multiplied to feed a crowd.
