Our good friend, Robin Goldstein, formerly of Fearless Critic, has landed on Kulangsu Island a small, pedestrian only, tourist destination located in Southwestern China. In the running to be named a Unesco World Heritage Site, Robin has been sharing some of the amazing delicacies of the island with us, including the "Clam Custard," (pictured above) from the Fragrant Cypress, a private kitchen on the island, which is also known as Gulangyu.
