Icebox Dessert

Ingredients
1 cup flour
3/4 cup crushed peanuts
1/2 cup melted margarine
8 ounces cream cheese
1 cup confectioners' sugar
1 cup non-dairy whipped topping
1 large package instant chocolate pudding
grated chocolate
Additional whipped topping
Preparation

Mix flour, peanuts and margarine and press in a 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake in 375 degree oven approximately 20 minutes or until light brown. Cool.

Mix cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy. Fold in whipped topping and spread carefully over crust. Mix pudding according to package directions and spread on top of cream mixture. Top with additional whipped topping and sprinkle with grated chocolate.

I have a few quick questions.
First, most pudding packets have two recipes, the basic pudding recipe and the pudding pie recipe. Which one applies here?
Second, once Step 2 is complete, should the entire dessert then be chilled, and for how long before serving?
Also, you might want to consider adding the milk for the pudding to the ingredients list.
