Prior to running for the GOP nomination Georgia businessman Herman Cain was best-known for leading a seemingly dead pizza chain called Godfather's Pizza back to profitability. If you haven't heard of Godfather's Pizza, you're not alone. There are 620 Godfather's locations throughout the country, operated by 220 franchisees.
As Cain has risen to the top of the GOP race, several journalists have gone out to taste test the pizza that made him famous. Most wished they hadn't. Tim Carman set out in search of the closest Godfather's store to the DC-area for The Washington Post. He found it nearly 100 miles away in a run-down looking gas station in New Market, Virginia. He describe the pizza as completely forgettable and having "neither the cornmeal walls of genuine deep dish nor the thin, chewy, charred crusts of Neapolitan pizza. These were pies of no great distinction."
Politico opted for a more democratic solution. They used a panel of three "experts" who unanimously voted Godfather's the worst of the five major brands sampled. Among the comments: "It’s the most unappetizing. The cheese is really sour! The crust is like a sponge" and "That is so bad." Ledo Pizza was the group's favorite.
Has anyone out there had Godfather's Pizza? More importantly, did anyone like it?

I happen to like their pizza. I guess thats why they have nearly 700 shops. Sounds like you have a bigger issue with cain's (R) than his pizza.
