When Liam Hemsworth found out he landed a role in The Hunger Games, he celebrated with a night of pizza and beer. During the celebrations, he received a text message from his brother Chris (who also happens to be an actor) pointing out what it would take to play his upcoming role.
"Chris texted me and said it's called Hunger games, not Eating Games. That was his advice to me," Liam said "I proceeded to eat a lot less for the film. I wanted to get a sense of what hunger was like. My character was not eating a lot. I wanted to feel that. And I guess I was eating too much pizza at the time."
After taking his brother's advice, Liam ended up losing 15 pounds for the film.
