Scott Disick's Ryu Looks for New Chef in Hilarious Craigslist Ad

July 3, 2012

Scott Disick's NYC Japanese restaurant, Ryu, hasn't been getting good reviews but a new ad on Craigslist shows Ryu is much more than their celebrity status. Ryu's hilarious post on Craigslist has the restaurant looking for a new chef while letting everyone know that Disick has nothing to do with the restaurant's menu.

Ryu has been dubbed "Scott Disicks" new restaurant. They say its his first and possibly his last. Well, Ryu is smack in the middle of the Meat Packing District and the Facebook page has a photo of Kanye West and the whole Kardashian crew. Yeah they were there. Yeah they come and hang out. But what you don't hear about on Eater or on Page Six is how great the f**king food is. Seriously, you think Scott has anything to do with the crew in the kitchen? You think he has control over this menu?

Behind the scenes the technicians from The Fatty Crew (Fatty Crab & Fatty 'Cue) are making some great things happen. Hokkaido Scallop | green strawberry, ginger, lime, habanero Chilled Wild Greens | black garlic, tamari Wagyu Cote Du Boeuf | porcini, fresh wasabi Rhode Island Fluke | yuzu kosho, white soy, chives.

Serious cooks step up and walk thru the velvet rope. In the BOH there's a serious vibe goin on.

Unfortunately for all the aspiring chefs out there, the posting has since been removed from Craigslist.
