The McDonald's fast food chain is ending its 40-year relationship with Heinz -- a condiment company well-known for its tomato ketchup.
McDonald's cites "recent management changes" in its decision to move business "to other suppliers over time." Former Burger King CEO Bernardo Hees recently became head of Heinz after a company purchase by investment firm 3G Capital, which has owned Burger King since 2010. Hees remains as vice chairman of Burger King's board in Miami.
Will this spell the beginning of a Hunt's ketchup era?
