About
A Raspberry Chipotle BBQ sauce is hard to find, we make our own...
I like a little ZING to my sauce and some folks call this sauce hot and it is a bit warm if you taste it with a spoon.
But after cooking on the grill it really mellows out.
So I guess you need to go by your own taste.
Me, I like it smoking …
And the folks that say it is hot always empty their plates... So it is not to hot...
Remember that a recipe is simply an outline; it is not written in stone.
Don’t be afraid to make changes to your taste.
Take it and run with it….
Enjoy,
Ken & Patti

We used to be able to buy a raspberry chipotle barbecue sauce at Costco, of all places. It was the only form of raspberry my husband - the raspberry hater - would eat! We liked to pour it on a whole brie, wrap it in puff pastry and bake for a very different en croute. Yum! This recipe sounds right up my alley.

Hi,
Costco was where we first found it then when we where hooked they stopped carrying it...
So after a lot of tries we came up with this...
It has a lot more zip than Costco's but when you put it on your food it mellows out a bit ...
But I like things a bit on the Zippy side...
