Rev7 Gum Won't Stick to Surfaces

Scientists at Bristol University in England have revolutionized recreational chewing with Rev7 gum, a chewing gum that won't stick to most surfaces. This gum is far easier to remove than conventional gum, which promises to keep streets, sidewalks and tabletops much cleaner.

Rev7 gum is ampiphilic, which means that it is hydrophobic and hydrophilic. Unlike most gum, Rev7 gum allows water to enter it, which lessens its ability to stick to most materials, including asphalt, carpets, chairs and purses.
