The very lovely Gwen Pratesi will speak on the Blogging Your Values at IFBC New Orleans!
Gwen Pratesi began her blog, Bunkycooks, in 2009 as a way to share her lifelong passion for cooking with friends and family. Bunkycooks quickly grew, evolving into a food, travel and lifestyle blog.
In June 2010, Gwen transformed her website by creating her now well-known On The Road adventures and Chef Interviews series. These series highlight travel to unique local farms, producers, chefs and restaurants that compliment her food and recipes. She informs, educates and entertains her audience with stories about the people and places behind our food.
By building on her previous work experience as a Personal and Executive Assistant in Boston, she has created a new venture, On The Road Culinary Adventures. These premium events take guests on a culinary road trip to meet and work with some of America’s best chefs, visit unique farms, wine and spirits producers and other special destinations. She also organizes private dinners and cooking classes with award-winning chefs to round out these adventures.
Gwen has been featured on several food websites including Fine Cooking.com, and has been written about in several Atlanta area newspapers, including the Atlanta Journal Constitution. She organized and hosted Food Blog Forum in Atlanta, September 2010, the first food blogging conference to take place in the Southeast.
When she isn’t traveling, you can find Gwen in Atlanta or in the mountains of North Carolina writing, cooking, entertaining and spending time with her husband and Tibetan Terrier.
