After many years of clamoring for such a drink, customers can finally enjoy the world's first "alcohol-free" whisky drink. Called ArKay, the drink is safe for pregnant women and practicing Muslims. It was launched worldwide during the past month and is beginning to expand outside the United States.
"The design of ArKay was to allow anyone with medical conditions or with religious beliefs to drink without guilt. ArKay tastes and looks exactly like traditional whisky. It is suitable for drinking straight up, on the rocks, or with soda or your favorite mixers," the company's site says.
The drink is made with artificial flavors and ingredients. It is the product of nearly five years of research.
