Anthony Bourdain is premiering his new show, The Layover, tomorrow in which the celebrity chef travels to cities all over the world for less than 48 hours to find the best places to dine. When it comes to street food, Bourdain says Hong Kong is the place to be.
"Hong Kong is a wonderful, mixed-up town where you’ve got great food and adventure," Bourdain said. "First and foremost, it’s a great place to experience China in a relatively accessible way. I love the dai pai dong [open-air food stalls]. There are wet markets, and above one is basically a huge food court with a large number of food stalls serving full menus of mind-blowing food."
The Layover premieres tomorrow night on the Travel Channel.
