Katy Perry plays a marine in her latest music video for "Part of Me." To help prepare herself, the singer was put on a strict diet that she admits she often cheats on.
"I got on a meal plan. I'm still on that meal plan, although I cheat a little bit -- I have to live!" Perry told MTV News. "I got a fantastic person to work me out and get me into really good shape.
Decked out in a military uniform, Perry performs many of her own stunts in the video, including "flipping girls" and the "fireman-carry."
