A teacher in California served food that contained marijuana in it, to people at a Thanksgiving potluck. Three people went to a hospital for treatment, where tests revealed that they had THC in their system.
The first grade teacher, Teresa Gilmete Badger, 47, was arrested on 3 counts of poisoning.
The state of California does allow marijuana use for medical reasons, but not for recreational use.
