Just a day after its re-opening, Jay-Z's 40/40 club has been shut down for health violations. The club, which just underwent a massive $10 million renovation, was given a "C" grade by the Department of Health for a total of 69 violations points. It turns out the club wasn't storing food at the correct temperatures and the employees lacked the standard of cleanliness. One employee was also caught not using proper utensils when making salsa and made bare-hand contact with the food.
One staff member says the cause of the violation was a broken refrigerator and says news reports have been false.
"We were never shut down," the 40/40 employee said. Apparently, the club has been running during it's normal hours, having closed at 4 a.m on Thursday and reopened again at 5 p.m. on Friday.

You spend millions on upgrades but you don't have a refrigerator that works or well trained employees.... But ask a fortune for everything you serve-
