Ed Helms announced he is boycotting Chick-fil-A for recent homophobic comments made by the fast food chain's president, Dan Cathy. Cathy recently admitted that Chick-fil-A is against gay marriage. It has also been revealed that the company has donated $2 million to organizations that oppose gay marriage.
"Chick-fil-A doesn't like gay people? So lame," Helms wrote on his Twitter page. "Hate to think what they do to the gay chickens! Lost a loyal fan."

You know, I've never understood how being against gay marriage automatically equals fear or hatred of homosexuals. That equivocation seems like a bit of logic fail to me. You can have personal beliefs about that which is right and wrong, and still treat people with whom you disagree respectfully. Being tolerant does not mean one has to accept behavior or beliefs that they do not believe are correct. Tolerance is agreeing to disagree, not changing one's beliefs.
